UFC on ESPN 24 Ribas vs. Hill: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Ribas 10-2-0 | Hill 13-9-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Ribas (-200) is a little too expensive for my liking, as she would cost you twice your potential return, so let’s get more specific.

Ribas is looking to bounce back from a Round 2 KO/TKO loss to Marina Rodriguez at UFC 257 Jan. 23, 2021; it was her first loss after four straight wins since arriving at the UFC level.

Three of the judo specialist’s five UFC fights finished inside the distance, too. Ribas is strong in the ground game with a 2.31-to-0.45 takedown average vs. Hill. Ribas also has a 58.33%-36.84% takedown accuracy advantage and a 1.65-to-0.13 edge in submission average.

As such, take RIBAS BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+265) on the 5-way line for a chance to nearly triple up.

Over/Under (O/U)

In addition, I love UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (+175) for a tremendous return, or NO (+150): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? for a little less return, but 90 seconds more wiggle room.

There is risk, despite Ribas and her ability to end fights early. Hill has gone the distance in four straight fights, so don’t expect a super early finish, but I don’t expect to see the judges get involved.
