For the second time in three nights, the Los Angeles Lakers (35-24) face the Dallas Mavericks (32-26) on the road Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled at 8:30 p.m. ET in American Airlines Center. Below, we analyze the Lakers-Mavericks odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Lakers lost to the Mavericks 115-110 Thursday night in the return of PF Anthony Davis.

Davis shot 2-for-10 and had four points and four rebounds in 16:40 minutes of work in his first game in more than two months.

Los Angeles has lost three of their last four games. The Lakers are fifth in the West, 2.5 games ahead of the 6-seed Mavericks.

The Mavericks have won two in a row and are 2-2 in their homestand. Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 30 points in the five-point win over the Lakers Thursday night.

They have been mediocre at home this season, going 15-14 on their home court.

Dallas is clinging to a half-game lead for the sixth seed, which avoids having to participate in the play-in games for the postseason.
