The Phoenix Suns (42-16) play the third contest of a five-game road trip against the Boston Celtics (31-27) Thursday at TD Garden. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Suns-Celtics odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Suns have won the first two ends of the road trip, topping the Milwaukee Bucks Monday by a 128-127 score in overtime, and edging the Philadelphia 76ers 116-113 to push on a three-point number.

Phoenix is 8-0 SU and 5-2-1 ATS across the past eight against Eastern Conference teams since a loss at Orlando March 24.

The Celtics have had a couple of days to think about their last game, and that’s not good.

Boston fell to the visiting Bulls 102-96, losing outright as 4.5-point favorites. Prior to that, the Celtics were on a six-game win streak while going 4-0 ATS from April 11-17.

Suns at Celtics: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Celtics 113, Suns 109

Money line (ML)

The CELTICS (+195) at home, and with a chance to double up? Sign me up. Yes, this comes with risk, as the injury report is littered with stars who are question marks and/or out.

However, the Suns (-250) are playing their third game in four games and that will level the playing field…err, hardwood…somewhat.

Against the spread (ATS)

The CELTICS +6 (-110) are ‘dogs by three buckets at home, and perhaps that’s a little more up your alley if you don’t like to roll the dice as much playing the money line. Boston is 4-1-1 ATS across the past six games overall.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 219.5 (-110) is worth playing lately here. The Over is always good when you have a tired West Coast team playing its third game in four days, and their internal clocks are still reading 4 p.m. with the three-hour time change.

It hasn’t affected them yet, but they’re going to show fatigue on the trip, and I am predicting it to be here, where they get lax defensively.
