The Utah Jazz (43-15) visit the Houston Rockets (15-43) Wednesday at Toyota Center at 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Jazz-Rockets odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Jazz bounced back from an overtime loss in the front end of a double-dip against the Lakers on Saturday, winning 111-97 on Monday to cover a seven-point number. Utah’s cover was its first in five games dating back to April 10.

The Rockets were worked over 113-91 at five-point underdogs in Miami on Monday as the Under connected. Houston has lost six of the past seven games while going 2-5 ATS during the span.

Jazz at Rockets: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Jazz 119, Rockets 101

Money line (ML)

The Jazz (-650) will cost you six and a half times your potential return, and that’s not a good long-term strategy even though Utah should punish the Rockets (+450). But it’s just not worth the risk.

Against the spread (ATS)

The JAZZ -11 (-110) are 0-3 ATS across their past three as double-digit favorites, but they blasted the Rockets +11 (-110) by a 114-99 score in the first meeting on March 12.

Roll with Utah, even though they’re without Mitchell and they have covered just once in the past five.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 226.5 (-110) is the play here, mainly because Mitchell is on the shelf for Utah, while Houston cannot be counted upon for any kind of consistent offense.

The Under has cashed in three of the past four games for Utah while hitting in two of the past three for Houston. The Rockets are averaging just 101.3 PPG across the past three.
