The Memphis Grizzlies (29-27) visit the Los Angeles Clippers (41-19) Wednesday at Staples Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Grizzlies-Clippers odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Memphis lost a 139-137 double-overtime thriller to the Denver Nuggets Monday to snap a two-game winning streak. The Grizzlies are eighth in the Western Conference; they’re five games ahead of the 11-seed New Orleans Pelicans and 2.5 games behind the sixth-place Portland Trail Blazers. Seeds 7-10 in each conference participate in the postseason play-in tournament.

Los Angeles won nine of its last 10 games while going 7-2-1 against the spread, including two straight against the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday and Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday.

These teams exchanged 20-plus-point blowout wins in back-to-back games February 25 and 26 to split their first two meetings of the season.

Grizzlies at Clippers: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Grizzlies 121, Clippers 110

Money line (ML)

There are a few reasons why I’m on the GRIZZLIES (+105) for 1 unit.

First, Memphis is the far healthier team at the moment. The Clippers are missing an All-NBA player in Leonard and two other starters.

In L.A.’s blowout victory over Memphis earlier this season, Leonard scored a game-high 30 points and both Ibaka and Beverley scored in double digits, as well.

Also, the Clippers played Tuesday and the Grizzlies have a highly aggressive and physical style of play, which is a major reason why Memphis is 8-5 straight up with a rest advantage.

Finally, the Grizzlies have a motivation edge by needing this game more than L.A., and the Grizzlies have covered the spread in five straight games entering Wednesday.

Against the spread (ATS)

PASS unless Memphis gets 2.5 points then I’d split the bet with three-fourths of a unit on the Grizzlies’ spread and a quarter unit on their money line.

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 226.5 (-115) for a half unit because three of L.A.’s best defensive players won’t be in the lineup and the Grizzlies have gone Over the total in four straight games and in eight of their last nine.

Furthermore, the Grizzlies are 12-5 O/U as road underdogs and the Clippers are 17-13-1 O/U at home this season.
