NBA playoffs betting: Odds, lines, tips for Rockets-Jazz, Warriors-Clippers on April 24

In today’s SportsbookWire Best Bets series, we focus on Wednesday’s NBA betting playoff action, which is a two-game slate.

Full breakdowns on each matchup can be found at SportsbookWire.USATODAY.com, with direct links to each NBA playoff game provided below.

Utah Jazz at Houston Rockets

Moneyline: The higher-seeded Rockets are -360 favorites to close out the series on home court, following Utah’s Game 4 upset. The Rockets are unlikely to follow-up with another letdown at home, but we’ll take the better value with the spread.

Against the spread: Houston’s being spotted –8 points on the spread and covered the number with ease in two of its three wins. It’s safe to take at -110 with the added advantage of home court.

Over/under: The 213 total hasn’t been topped since Game 2. Pick the OVER (-110) while expecting a comfortable win for the home team.

Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors

Moneyline: Stay far away from the lofty -1600 line for the Warriors. The Clippers aren’t worth taking even at +950.

Against the spread: The spread is in favor of Golden State at -14 (-110). Roll with the two-time defending champs to put on a show to the home fans after losing Game 2.

Over/under: The first four games went 2-2 against Wednesday’s number of 235. Take the UNDER with the Warriors looking to win in a rout.
