Orlando Magic at Toronto Raptors: By the Numbers

  • The two teams split the season series 2-2 with each team winning once at home and once on the road. Each of the final three meetings was decided by at least 12 points.
  • The Raptors ranked eighth of 30 teams in the regular season with 114.4 points per game, while the Magic was just 24th at 107.3 PPG.
  • Both teams finished in the top 10 in opponents points per game allowed, with Orlando’s 106.6 being fewer than all but four teams.
  • The Raptors went 32-9 on home court this year but they covered the spread in just 18 of the 41 outings.

Orlando Magic at Toronto Raptors: Key Injuries

Raptors PF OG Anunoby will miss an indefinite amount of time after undergoing an appendectomy.

Magic SF Jonathan Isaac was cleared from the concussion protocol in time for Game 1. C Mo Bamba and PG Markelle Fultz will be unavailable for the playoffs.

Orlando Magic at Toronto Raptors: Best Bet

Moneyline: The Raptors are gigantic -390 favorites at home. They’re the smart play but that number’s a bit too large for the postseason.

Against the spread: Toronto has a better number at -110 to cover -8.5. Expect to see SF Kawhi Leonard‘s best play of the season after he was alotted plenty of rest over the first 82 games.

Over/under: The total is 213, but that number was topped just once in the season series. Take the UNDER at -110 as the Raptors’ second unit drops off considerably without Anunoby.
