NBA Best Bet of the Day: Golden State Warriors at Memphis Grizzlies

Thanks to the Milwaukee Bucks, we went 3-for-3 on Tuesday, picking up the moneyline, spread, and the over to improve to 7-2 over the last three days of NBA betting.

Wednesday, we have a Western Conference matchup between the top-seeded Golden State Warriors and 13th-place Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies: By the Numbers

  • The 50-23 Warriors are just 17-19 against the spread as the visitor this season, despite holding an overall road record of 24-12.
  • Memphis is a woeful 30-44 in 2018-19, but it has done much better at home and sports a 20-18 record at the Forum. The Grizzlies have gone 7-3 against the spread over their past 10 games.
  • Golden State won the first two games of the season series by scores of 17 and 16, respectively, with both those victories coming at home. They open as 10.5 favorites for this road meeting.
  • The total for Wednesday night has been set at 217, a number the Grizzlies have topped in five of their past six games but the Warriors have beat in just two of nine contests coming in.

Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies: Key Injuries

Warriors C DeMarcus Cousins and SF Andre Iguodala were both rested in the team’s last game but should return to the lineup. Head coach Steve Kerr plans to prioritize rest down the stretch, but without any back-to-backs this week, there’s little fear of the top stars being left out.

Grizzlies PG Mike Conley is listed as questionable due to a thigh injury that has kept him out of two of the past three games and will need to make it through shootaround. SG Avery Bradley is also likely to remain out of the lineup.

Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies: Best Bet

Moneyline: The Warriors are listed as monstrous -650 favorites, but we don’t advise spotting that kind of money.

Against the spread: Instead, grab Golden State at -10.5 with more appealing -110 odds. Be sure to grab it before Conley is officially ruled out.

Over/under: The Warriors have struggled to match totals of late and the under should be taken again at -110 as they should have little difficulty with Memphis’ shorthanded offense.
