NHL Betting Roundup: Saturday action

The National Hockey League will have 28 of the 31 teams in action on Saturday, and most teams have less than 10 games remaining in the regular season. There are a ton of games with playoff implications, so it’s going to be a very exciting weekend.

Philadelphia Flyers (-125) vs. New York Islanders – 1:00 p.m. ET

While the Islanders have succeeded this season as the road underdog, including a 7-3 record in their past 10 such situations, they have struggled over the years in the City of Brotherly Love. The Isles have won just eight of their past 29 trips down to Philadelphia, and they’re a dismal 17-43 across the past 60 meetings in this series. The favorite has dominated, winning 47 of the past 64 battles in this series. Philly has cashed in six of their past seven games as a favorite, including 4-1 in the past five as a home fave. They’re also rolling along with a 20-9 record across the past 29 games.

BONUS: If you’re a total bettor, consider the ‘over’. The total has gone over in seven of the previous eight meetings in this series, including each of the past four skates in Philly.

Boston Bruins (-115) at Florida Panthers – 7:00 p.m. ET

The B’s have been blistering hot lately, winning 18 of their past 23 games overall, and they’re 4-1 in the past five as a road favorite. They have also taken seven of their past eight against Atlantic Division opponents. For the Panthers, their scoring has been legit, and they can be a spoiler with the talent they have among their top-six forward. They have won seven of the past 10 at home, and five of the past seven overall. However, they’re just 2-6 in the past eight as an underdog. The B’s have dominated this series, too, winning 26 of the past 35 meetings, and 16 of their past 23 trips to Sunrise.

BONUS: The ‘under’ is a perfect 6-0 in the past six meetings in this series in Florida, while going 14-6-1 in Boston’s past 21 games against Eastern Conference opponents.

Vegas Golden Knights (Puck Line -1.5, -115) vs. Detroit Red Wings – 10:00 p.m ET

The Golden Knights have been hot lately, winning 10 of their past 11 games overall, and they’re money at T-Mobile Arena, picking up 58 victories in their past 86 on home ice. That includes a perfect 6-0 record in their past six as a home favorite. They also make their money against the dregs of the league, winning 20 of the past 28 against teams with a winning percentage under .400. Conversely, the Red Wings are just 12-42 in their past 54 tries against winning teams, and they’re a dismal 1-5 in their past six against Pacific Division clubs.
